About the role
Overview The 3R Management Associate (MA) Program is a structured rotation designed for fresh graduates who want to build a career in credit investing and portfolio management. As an MA, you will rotate across investment research/PM support, trading & execution, and operations/client solutions, gaining front-to-back exposure to how an institutional credit fund is run. Key Responsibilities Over the Course of the Program, You Will: Support fundamental and quantitative credit research on issuers, securities and capital structures across Asian and global credit markets, including basic financial modelling, scenario analysis and valuation work to support trade ideas and portfolio construction. Assist portfolio managers with monitoring positions, tracking catalysts and events, updating investment theses, and preparing concise written recommendations and presentations. Work with traders on daily trading and execution activities (order preparation and placement support, execution support, booking checks, P&L and position monitoring) and highlight anomalies, upcoming events or liquidity/operational issues. Conduct macro, sector and issuer research by sourcing and synthesizing market data, news and street research, and help maintain internal databases, trackers and analytics dashboards. Rotate through operations/client solutions to learn fund flows, trade lifecycle, operational controls, and client needs that inform investment decisions. Support the preparation of market, sector and portfolio commentary, research reports, dashboards and meeting materials for internal investment committees and external investor updates. Rotations The program comprises three Singapore-based rotations: Investment Research / PM Support (Investment Team) Trading & Execution (Investment Team) Operations / Client Solutions Mentorship Each MA is assigned a dedicated mentor (typically a senior team member or portfolio manager) for the full program. Mentorship includes goal-setting, rotation reviews, and regular one-to-one sessions to discuss progress, feedback and development. Who We Are Looking For Fresh graduates with a strong academic background in finance, economics, business, accounting, engineering, data science, quantitative disciplines, or other closely related fields. Strong interest in Asian and global credit markets and in building a long-term career in investments and trading. Solid analytical and numerical skills; basic familiarity with financial statements and Excel/financial modelling is a plus. Hands-on programming skills (e.g. Python, R, SQL or similar), with the ability to work with data, build simple analytical tools and automate workflows. High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn in a lean, high-expectation environment. Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across investment, trading and operations teams. Upon successful completion of the program, Management Associates will be considered for suitable full-time roles (for example, Investment Analyst within the Investment Team), subject to performance and business needs.
