If so, CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is currently looking for Senior Associate, CTR (Close-to-Report) to join our Global Capability Center in Gurugram, India. Team You'll be part of a professional and collaborative team where precision and accountability are valued. The Close-to-Report (CTR) team manages month-end and year-end close activities ensuring accurate, transparent and timely preparation and presentation of our financial statements. Role As our new Senior Associate in CTR, you will support timely and accurate bank reconciliations and intercompany reporting in line with GAAP/IFRS. Your role will involve preparing financial data, reconciling transactions and balances, and supporting intercompany settlements, ensuring the integrity of our financial close process. Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations Intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely resolution of all transactional discrepancies Investigate and solve routine variances in general ledger and bank statements, maintaining clear documentation Record, reconcile and monitor inter-company transactions and balances Maintain an up-to-date register of group companies and related party transactions Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and adjustments Support relevant month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities Assist in the preparation of financial statements and variance analysis, perform general ledger reconciliations and analyze open items Ensure comprehensive documentation and strict adherence to internal policies and controls and SOX compliance requirements Support internal, statutory, tax and other auditors in solving audit queries Identify and recommend opportunities for process automation contributing to operational excellence. You We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting or other finance related disciplines and comes with minimum 4 years of full-time experience. Moreover, you are a highly skilled and motivated individual who is thriving in a highly effective and innovative environment. We look for the following in a candidate: In-depth understanding of the relevant GAAP/IFRS standards Proficient in conducting internal audits, designing and implementing internal control frameworks, and ensuring regulatory compliance Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated ability in financial modeling, data analysis, and troubleshooting complex accounting issues Collaborative colleague with ability to perform under tight deadlines while consistently maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency Proficient in ERP systems (like MSBC) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams Background in PE or fund management would be considered as an added advantage Professional qualifications like CA/CPA/ACCA qualifications will be preferred.
