About You You'll bring: Experience delivering UK transport planning projects within a consultancy or similar environment A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related discipline Membership of a relevant professional institution (or working towards this) Strong technical reporting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of UK transport planning policy and appraisal techniques Experience using transport modelling software such as JUNCTIONS and LINSIG Additionally, Principal-level applicants should be able to demonstrate: A proven track record of winning work and developing new client relationships Culture & Inclusion Inclusion is fundamental to who we are. Supporting Wales' growth through sustainable transport planning SLR is a global leader in sustainability solutions, working with clients to help make sustainability happen, within a collaborative, people-first culture. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced transport planning professional to join our established Transport Planning team in Cardiff. Applications are welcomed from candidates operating at Transport Planner, Senior Transport Planner or Principal Transport Planner level, appointment will be made at the level most appropriate to the successful candidate's skills, experience and ability to contribute to the growth of the team. Principal-level candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of winning work and developing new client relationships. You'll work on a diverse mix of development and infrastructure projects across both private and public sectors, supporting clients in residential, commercial, retail and energy. Our portfolio ranges from strategic new settlements through to smaller-scale landowner developments. The role will focus on transport planning and appraisal work, alongside project delivery, client relationship management, project management and business development activities, depending on your experience and level.
