What Makes This Role Great: In this role, you will be the primary functional lead owning the end-to-end design of Salesforce Billing and its critical downstream integrations, directly influencing our financial scalability and shaping the future of global quote-to-cash workflows at Trimble. Key Exciting Responsibilities - Own and manage the end-to-end functional architecture for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid billing models within Salesforce. - Architect seamless, high-volume data integrations between Salesforce Billing and downstream enterprise ERP, revenue recognition, tax, and payment platforms. - Transform high-level business requirement epics into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and technical blueprints in an agile environment. - Collaborate closely with global finance, revenue operations, and engineering stakeholders across multiple time zones to align billing outputs with financial controls. - Troubleshoot and optimize complex invoice generation, proration logic, and system synchronization processes to maximize operational efficiency. Essential Skills & Experience - You possess 6 or more years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a deep functional focus on Salesforce Billing. - You have a proven track record of designing complex integrations between billing applications and downstream ERP or financial systems. - You have a comprehensive understanding of the full quote-to-cash lifecycle, subscription management, and financial reconciliation. - You bring demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with globally distributed teams and working with tools like Jira and Confluence. Bonus Points For - Experience integrating Salesforce Billing specifically with enterprise ERPs like SAP or Oracle. - Familiarity with specialized revenue recognition platforms, tax engines, and payment gateways. - Experience operating within high-volume, enterprise-scale monetization and billing environments.
