About the role
We are looking for a Medior IT Consultant to join our Digital Innovation team in France. In this role, you will lead the analysis and structuring of digital R&D projects and produce high-quality technical documentation, mainly for the French R&D tax schemes (CIR / CII). This is a consulting role with a strong focus on writing, where your ability to understand complex technical topics and translate them into clear, compliant narratives is essential. You will work closely with clients' technical teams and progressively take ownership of projects and deliverables. Your mission is to support innovative companies in identifying, structuring, and justifying their digital R&D activities, ensuring high-quality documentation aligned with CIR/CII requirements. Analyse digital R&D projects (AI, software, data, cloud, systems) and identify technical uncertainties Lead interviews with technical teams to structure R&D narratives Write and review detailed scientific and technical justifications for CIR/CII files Translate complex technical work into clear, compliant documentation for tax authorities Ensure quality, consistency, and robustness of deliverables Contribute to client interactions and manage parts of the project lifecycle Support junior consultants and share best practices Stay up to date with innovation trends and CIR/CII evolution PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data, Software Engineering, or a related technical field 3 to 6 years of experience in digital R&D, innovation consulting, or complex technical environments Strong ability to identify and formalise technical uncertainty and R&D value Excellent writing and structuring skills in French (C2 level required) Comfortable interacting with technical stakeholders and clients Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and attention to detail Good command of English Eligible to work in France (no visa sponsorship) Work on cutting-edge digital R&D projects across multiple industries Develop strong expertise in CIR/CII and innovation funding Gain ownership on projects with real client exposure Grow in a collaborative and international environment with clear career paths Office-based onboarding in Paris for the first 8 months, then hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote) Competitive salary: €40,000-€42,000 gross per year Performance bonus up to one month's salary €12 meal vouchers (60% employer), 100% employer-paid health insurance, 50% transport reimbursement
