About the role
Job Purpose Gas acquisition and recovery is pivotal to our purpose to protect and enhance the environment by effectively managing the lifecycle of refrigerants to build a sustainable future. The purpose of this role is to lead and drive the overall performance of the Rapid Recovery (gas acquisition) business so that we are able to meet operational and commercial targets and growth. Reports to Gas Acquisition Director - Europe Principal Place of Work Either based at A-Gas office in Eygelshoven, Netherlands or home-based with frequent travel to office. In both cases with extensive travel to current or prospective A-Gas clients as required Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications -P&L responsibility in a SME environment -Strong track record in in sales & sales management within the refrigeration/HVAC industry or ancillary services industries -Background in a services or rentals business model -Experience of managing commercial relationships with distributors/ wholesalers/ contractors -English language skills to professional business level -Safety-first mindset and behaviours -Analytical and process-driven -Innovative and strategic thinking -Good listener, effective delegator and excellent communicator -Firm and decisive -Organised and resourceful -Excellent motivator and a coach-like mindset Desirable -Business start-up experience -Bachelor Degree/ Masters -Knowledge of technical gases or chemicals or waste management -Multilingual including Dutch and/or French
