Position Summary The incumbent will participate in tender exercise, prepare Bill of Quantity and budget estimate. Perform budget control for projects and submission of claims in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To review contracts and ensure progress claim submissions are processed in a timely manner, based on contract stipulated due date. Follow up and ensure payment certificates are received on time from clients Work with Management on contractual issues Evaluate sub-contractor claims and Variation Order (VO) with cost benefit analysis Sourcing of supplier and negotiation for best rates Assist in handling and managing all cost aspects of project from inception to completion Assist Director/Sales Team in costings relating to sales enquiries and to prepare, monitor and submit quotations to clients, in particular for customized project. Attend site meetings and site valuations with client and consultants when required To keep abreast of current and upcoming developments and up-to-date knowledge of costs of construction materials To assist Director to perform any other related duties as required. Job Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Preferably 2 years working experience in related field. Fresh Graduates welcomed to apply. Good communication skills (both spoken and written) in English and Chinese. Good organizing skills and attention to details.
