About the role

The Polio Services Victoria Grade 2 Physiotherapist will be responsible for the provision of evidence-based practice comprising of comprehensive assessment, treatment and education for people attending the clinic who have polio related health issues. You will: Provide appropriate, timely, clinical best practice in management of people with polio related health issues. This may include group-based or individual physiotherapy sessions including aquatic physiotherapy as required Participate and contribute to multidisciplinary goal setting, care planning and discharge planning as appropriate Attend PSV clinics - metropolitan and regional (shared across physiotherapy team) Actively participate in/ contribute to/develop relevant PSV quality or clinical research projects Provide instruction and teaching for other health professionals and physiotherapy students as to best practice methods in physiotherapy for management of polio related health issues. Classifications for this position will be VB1 - VB4 ($90,235 to $103,724 per annum, pro rata for part time). Your Contribution Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Eligibility for Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) membership Victorian Drivers license Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
