About the role

Welo Data is seeking native French / Luxembourgish speakers to contribute to a global food delivery project. Your role will involve reviewing restaurant menu items written in French / Luxembourgish and classifying each one using a standardized taxonomy in Americanized English. This work will help enhance food category recognition across diverse markets. You will interpret menu items in French / Luxembourgish and select the closest matching English category label from a searchable dropdown. Strong English comprehension is essential for navigating the taxonomy accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read: Review each menu item's name, category, and description written in French / Luxembourgish.
• Confirm: Check the item photo (if available) to verify the food type.
• Classify: Assign the most accurate Dish Label from an English-language taxonomy dropdown. You can use English keywords, such as "pasta" or "grilled chicken," for quick selection.
• Label: Select a Course Label in English (e.g., Appetizer, Main Course, Side Dish, Dessert, Beverage, Other).
• Add Notes: Provide a brief note for items that seem unclear, ambiguous, or unusual - no row should be left blank.
• Project Details:
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration:1-2 hours total (up to 10 hours maximum)

Requirements

• Native French / Luxembourgish Speaker: Based in Luxembourg.
