The Commercial Planning area of MadeiraMadeira is an area that constantly uses and collects data, in order to make analyses, reports, projections and support decisions. We work interdepartmental, working together with sales teams, channels, categories, and having a great interface with the FP&A and Operations areas. Due to this cross-functional performance, it is an area that is constantly concerned with process modeling, which requires good communication and excellent interpersonal relationships. As we are in an age of data, the main challenge of the opportunity is to translate data into relevant information, supporting better decision-making by sales teams, channels and categories. This position will create, develop and update various reports and dashboards, as well as external data integrations, used to identify market opportunities and increase competitive advantage. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The main challenges, day to day responsibilities of this position are: Identify and specify problems in MM's business areas that can be answered with data. Create data visualizations and make data available to the business areas used for decision making. Develop, maintain and optimize dashboards, data analysis and script automations of low to medium complexity. Build datasets - cubes and datamarts. Support the creation and maintenance of data pipelines that will be used to answer business questions, serve as Dashboard datasets. Integrate and process data from different sources to generate insights for the business; To be the bridge between the business area and the technology area. Understand and monitor processes carried out by the business area to assist in the creation, maintenance and delivery of solutions with the technical teams. Technical skills: Practical experience in SQL of at least 2 years (DDL,DML,DCL), example: MySQL, Presto, PostgreSQL. Hands-on experience using BI tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.). Giving priority to the Looker tool. Basic knowledge of data storage patterns and modeling: relational and non-relational. Knowledge and experience in ETL/ELT processes. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS platform) Knowledge of Python programming language for Data Analysis. Basic knowledge of statistics. Advanced Excel Training: Completed higher education in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems or related areas.
