Key Duties Include: - Administer the certified rabies vaccinator program in alignment with North Carolina statutes. - Manage statewide rabies tag sales, including account setup, order processing, and reconciliation of financial transactions. - Maintain and update rabies tag and certified vaccinator databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of program records. - Coordinate shipping logistics for routine and urgent rabies tag distribution, following established FedEx and UPS protocols. - Process, verify, and post receipts for goods sold while researching and resolving account discrepancies. - Collect, enter, and analyze surveillance and program-related data to support reporting, trend monitoring, and decision-making. - Assist with outbreak events by providing data support, logistical coordination, or other operational tasks as needed. - Develop training materials and assist in training delivery related to program operations and public health procedures. - Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to support program operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. - Contribute to additional Communicable Disease Branch initiatives based on evolving program priorities and public health needs. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range: $60,881.00 - $106,544.00 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred: Intermediate‑level use of Microsoft Access to maintain, update, and verify program databases supporting operational workflows. Proficient development of presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to support training, communication, and program information delivery. Demonstrated experience processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold, including resolving account discrepancies and recording transactions in accordance with established procedures. Hands‑on experience performing administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing documentation, and contacting clients regarding account status. Applied experience managing shipping logistics through FedEx and UPS, including preparing shipments, tracking deliveries, and executing protocol‑based fulfillment tasks.
