Responsibilities
- Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Coordinate and oversee the order after handover from Sales through manufacturing.
- Monitor the material availability to secure the introduction of the order to production.
- Monitor any production or facility changes affecting order production.
- Manage orders, b lock , release , scrap , according to requirements and communicate accordingly.
- Interface within Production Steering for management of orders and production plan.
- Interact with Production Control and coordinate any recovery plans to the production plan.
- Track the on-time performance of the delivery date.
- Report any deficiencies or plans to recover delayed orders.
- Collect, prepare and deliver the o rder management details through, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reporting cycle.
- Meet the global reporting requirements of the team .
- Support other requirements, including VDA / BMS , as necessary.
- Location & Travel Expectations :
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, engineering or a related field . An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 4+ years in order management or order fulfillment within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with translation to business report writing.
- Proficiency in ERP and planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate complex issues into common language for the organization.
- Collaborative team-player with strong interpersonal skills able to work at each hierarchical level of the company
- Detailed knowledge of systems, including Microsoft office suite, especially excel.
