About the role
As the Revenue Operations & Assurance Manager , you will lead our Order to Cash activities, overseeing €100m+ in annual Group Revenue across a complex, multi-product global connectivity portfolio. We are looking for a driven and curious individual to use their experience to play a central role in enabling scalable, high-margin growth through best-in-class revenue governance. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance Operations and will lead a dedicated team of Revenue Operations and Assurance professionals (2 direct reports) with ambitions to continue to build team capabilities and harness the transformative impact of AI. Role Working closely at the intersection of the Finance, Wholesale and Data & AI teams, the candidate's key duties will include: Revenue Assurance Implement and manage robust Revenue Assurance processes to ensure timely and accurate revenue and cost reporting. Reconcile activity between network elements, device performance, and billing systems to identify and remediate discrepancies. Perform regular reconciliation and analysis of revenue and cost streams, identifying leakage and opportunities for improvement. Understand and aggregate revenue and cost assurance activities across the business to ensure effectiveness and accuracy. Design and implement AI-enabled revenue assurance frameworks to ensure proactive identification and remediation of revenue risks. Leverage predictive analytics and data visualisation platforms (Power BI, Looker, etc.) to proactively identify revenue leakage and generate actionable insights for the business. Drive automation across billing and assurance processes, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy and speed of execution. Provide assurance to the Finance Department for the settlement of roaming payments and receipts. Billing Operations Own end-to-end billing operations, including invoice generation, dispatch, and reconciliation across customer and partner accounts. Maintain billing system (NetSuite) to ensure accuracy for both revenues and costs. Lead the resolution of billing disputes, processing credits and adjustments in a timely and accurate manner. Serve as the primary point of escalation for customer and partner billing queries, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and root causes are addressed. Coordinate with other departments to onboard new revenue product implementation and monthly billing activities. Work closely with the Financial Controller on cash forecasting analysis. Stakeholder Management & Reporting Drive business awareness and resolution of billing and revenue initiatives, as well as ad-hoc analysis as required. Analyse data and reports to identify opportunities and areas for improvement across revenue and billing operations. Act as the key Finance liaison for billing and revenue matters across Commercial, Wholesale, and Data & AI teams. Leadership Lead, scale, and performance-manage a growing team of revenue assurance and billing operations professionals, fostering a high-performance culture aligned to Cubic's growth ambitions. Develop team skills and capabilities with structured training, defined goals, and ongoing coaching and mentorship. Lead the team through transformation - driving process change, embedding new ways of working, and championing a culture of accuracy, continuous improvement, and accountability as the function evolves.
