This is one of the largest power buildouts happening anywhere, and you'll secure the ground the entire thing sits on. Every gigawatt the company deploys starts with the land you lock. Get power online in months, not years. Years usually pass between locking land and delivering power. You'll own that whole stretch, acquisition through permitting, development, and delivery, and compress it so compute comes online sooner. Lock down the land that large-scale solar demands. Large-scale solar is our only path to tens of gigawatts and beyond, and land is the single biggest bottleneck to getting there. You'll find and lock contiguous tracts at a scale few people in the industry operate at. Role Scope Lead the colocation site procurement strategy for the US data center portfolio, sourcing colocation opportunities at powered land sites and negotiating leases with colocation providers and data center operators. Conduct due diligence on colocation-ready powered land: evaluate utility and behind-the-meter power at 200MW+ scale, and assess buildability through title docs, surveys, geotechnical reports, and environmental studies. Understand permitting requirements at each colocation site and their implications for the construction schedule. Maintain relationships with colocation providers, brokers, landowners, and developers so a valid site is never missed, and run vendor due diligence including on-site audits with specialist engineers. Work directly with DC Design to keep colocation sites matched to the latest technical requirements, and own capacity planning and forecasting across clients and regions. Partner with Finance on multi-year infrastructure investment and cost structures, and lead commercial negotiations with colocation providers and developers.
