Responsibilities

  • Assess learners working towards Health & Social Care qualifications (Level 2-5)

  • Essential Requirements
  • Occupational competence in Health & Social Care
  • Assessor qualification (e.g. CAVA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent)
  • Experience assessing Health & Social Care qualifications/apprenticeships
  • Strong knowledge of sector standards, safeguarding, and care practices
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Must have a driving license and be able to travel across the North East
  • Desirable:
  • IQA qualification (or working towards)
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS or equivalent)
  • Experience working with apprenticeships standards (Level 2-5)
