Key Essential Functions/Duties: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Performs hourly New Hire Benefit Orientation and assists with annual open enrollment Manages COBRA administration by working with vendor Assists new hires with benefit enrollment and verifies dependent documentation. Manages all benefit qualifying event requests from employees, verifying legitimacy and compliance. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Performance all I-9 Reverifications for the organization, ensure federal compliance. Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies. Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and recognition programs. Helps with other benefit items: No Fault letters, EOI's, National Medical Support Orders Assists with benefit communications throughout the organization (postings, TVs, etc...) Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide the best service to employees as possible. Participate in audits and ensure documentation is complete and up to date. Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications: Associate degree in Human Resources, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in an HR or people services role, preferably in a manufacturing required. Working knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Experience in a unionized environment a plus. HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) Preferred Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement culture.
