Join our Trading Team in Budapest and advance your career as a/an Trading Settlements Senior Analyst ST&S executes physical and financial trades with external counter parties and customers, both on behalf of BP's businesses, managing physical supply and exposure; as well as for entrepreneurial purposes using market intelligence data. The role supports US based activity, and requires a minimum of 7 days evening shift working per month. In this role You will (be): Complete and monitor the settlement of various trading products, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance regulations. Identify and resolve settlement discrepancies and issues, collaborating with internal and external collaborators to find effective solutions. Analyze existing settlement processes to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Contribute to a positive customer experience by providing clear and concise communication regarding settlement status and issues. Participate in projects aimed at optimizing trading settlement systems and workflows. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of trading operations and market practices. Exercise independent decision-making to address complex settlement challenges. Foster a collaborative environment by working effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment. Champion standard processes and share knowledge to promote thought leadership within the team.
