Responsibilities

• This role is ideal for a hands-on person who takes pride in precision, works independently, and enjoys collaborating with world-class engineers.
• Build and test mechanical and electromechanical prototypes based on early-stage design concepts.
• Carry out rapid prototyping and mechanical assembly trials.
• Optimize and maintain workshop processes, tools, inventory, and calibration.
• Operate key workshop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and test stands.
• Work closely with engineers to improve prototypes and prepare them for production.
• Perform incoming goods inspections, maintain PPE and tools, and ensure safe working practices.
• Maintain a clean, structured, and efficient lab and workshop environment.

Requirements

• Hands-on problem solver with strong practical skills - equally effective working independently and as part of a team in a workshop environment.
• Proactive, communicative, and team-oriented - you thrive when collaborating with engineers and technicians in dynamic development environments.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious - with high standards for quality, precision, and safe working practices.
• Adaptable and flexible - you perform well in fast-moving, evolving technical environments with a high degree of ownership.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Strong technical background, such as vocational training or a technical college/university degree, with experience in machining, wiring, assembly, and test stand technology.
