Senior Design Manager, Planning & Technical

A Day in the Life: - Lead and manage the technical design phase of the projects from conceptualisation to detailed design - Ensure designs are aligned with project goals and client requirements - Oversee the design process and ensure compliance with technical standards - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions - Provide technical expertise in areas such as architectural design, structural engineering, and MEP systems - Conduct design reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications - Collaborate with project managers to integrate technical design considerations into project budgets and schedules - Advice the design team on any design conflicts Who are We Looking For: - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or any related field - Minimum 8 years of experience in technical design for construction projects - Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools - Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information - Ability to create technical hand sketches - Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Revit, Sketch up, and familiarity with Photoshop and Rhino - Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills - Good time-management abilities - Good understanding / knowledge on latest construction methodology
