Your role Establish, further develop, and standardize SBU-wide reporting (internal and towards Group) Design and redesign reporting formats in line with defined targets and reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual) Automate recurring reporting and simplify processes to improve quality and efficiency Ensure transparency on financial performance, including key drivers, risks, and opportunities Deliver monthly performance reporting and variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior year Analyze and comment on financial KPIs, identify deviations, and define and track corrective measures Conduct profitability and performance deep dives (e.g. by geography, product, or business segment) Provide decision-making materials and actionable insights to support management steering Lead and coordinate the annual budget and forecasting processes, including timelines, assumptions, and stakeholder inputs Consolidate and validate budget and forecast submissions across the SBU Challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with strategic targets and financial guidelines Ensure consistency between budget, forecast, and actual performance Your profile University degree in business administration with a focus on finance/controlling or a related field Preferred to have additional professional finance qualification e.g. ACCA, CPA, CMA or similar Experience in controlling or related areas Strong analytical abilities with strategic thinking and solution-oriented approach Very good (English) communication skills across various departments and hierarchy levels and experience in internal stakeholder management Technical skills e.g. SAP, financial management systems, & experience in working with these systems Rooted in the ZEISS culture, we prioritize collaboration, integrity, ambition, and an entrepreneurial growth mindset, all supported by a commitment to continuous learning.
