Job Description Ensuring Compliance with the PDPA To ensure that the organisation meets specific PDPA requirements. They address concerns, investigate complaints and work to resolve issues related to data handling practices. Developing and Implementing Data Protection Policies Establishes specific data protection policies and has them tailored to the unique data handling practices of the company. These policies guide employees in handling data responsibly to create a structured approach to data privacy. Liaising with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) Acting as the primary liaison with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC),a DPO should actively facilitate communication regarding any data protection issues, audits, or incidents. This connection allows the organisation to remain informed on regulatory changes and enforcement actions. Ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superior. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or Diploma holder in any discipline. Proficient in data protection and compliance. Able to educate, train and facilitate PDPA related work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, to collaborate and engage with various levels of stakeholders. Keen and motivated to continuously learn and improve, proactive and thrive when facing challenges. Diligent in completing tasks and processes from start to end, adhere well to timelines independently and as a team. Resourceful, analytical and keen in problem-solving. Proficient in MS Office applications.
