This role will modernize legacy workflows, define engineering standards, and drive adoption of scalable build and packaging practices across a globally distributed engineering organization. Roles and Responsibilities D efine and implement target architecture for build systems, toolchains, dependency modeling, packaging, and artifact lifecycle management. Design and deliver hermetic and reproducible build systems, including executor access control and network isolation. Establish deterministic build practices such as pinned toolchains and controlled dependencies. Standardize artifact versioning, storage, promotion, and consumption patterns. Improve packaging consistency across dev, CI, and release environments. Optimize build/test performance using caching and incremental builds. Develop self-service tooling for developer productivity. Integrate artifact integrity and provenance into pipelines. Lead cross-team adoption of build/toolchain practices. Modernize legacy build systems without disrupting delivery. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6+ years Linux-based distributed systems experience.
