Job Description We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Technician (Tolling) to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of toll equipment systems through preventive maintenance , troubleshooting, and repairs. This role is a full-time contract and onsite , located in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/ wiring diagrams , and establish test procedures
- Utilize tools like volt/amp meters, oscilloscopes , and network analyzers
- Perform preventative maintenance and frequent inspections of equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and networking issues
- Configure toll equipment software and network devices
- Conduct daily site inspections of tolling equipment and systems
- Install, maintain, and monitor CCTV cameras and NVRs
- Assist with equipment installation and testing at tolling sites
- Work safely at heights up to 30 feet and lift up to 50 pounds
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and timely
Requirements
- Required:
- Knowledge of electronic systems and components
- Skilled in using technical tools and software environments (Windows, Unix , Linux)
- Ability to read and comprehend technical and maintenance documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Valid Class E Driver's License
- COMPTIA A+ Certification or equivalent
- Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification
- Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification
- Completion of a 10-hour OSHA Safety Course
- Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
