Role Overview: Data Specialist is the subject matter expert for everything data related for email marketing campaigns managed by the Ads Campaign Operations (ACO) team. From understanding the signals available, building and maintaining pipelines for campaign targeting sets to monitoring campaign health and troubleshooting if things go sideways. On top of their technical excellence, they can also confidently talk about the data aspect of our campaigns to internal and external stakeholders. The Data Specialist is the foremost expert on all data aspects of email marketing campaigns within the Ads Campaign Operations (ACO) team. Their responsibilities encompass understanding available signals, constructing and maintaining pipelines for campaign targeting, and monitoring and troubleshooting campaign health. In addition to their technical proficiency, they can effectively communicate data-driven campaign insights to both internal and external stakeholders. Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders in the management of audience signals in building target audiences and leveraging in the end to end campaign execution process Create, manage and validate campaign audiences through SQL scripting Collaborate with analytics teams during experiment setup conversations, e.g. providing insights into signals used in the respective campaigns, explain system behavior and its impact on experiment setup (filtration rates and filtration reasons), confirm feasibility of implementation on targeting script and system workflow level. Responsible for the maintenance and operation of data pipelines; ensuring that the pipelines are running smoothly, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise, and implementing improvements to the pipelines to ensure they are efficient and effective Communicate campaign performance results across multiple teams and stakeholders Create reporting dashboards and adhoc reports for marketers Develop key relationships with stakeholders and possess the communication skills and confidence to deliver technical information to non-technical audiences Act as the go-to subject matter expert for data availability for marketing campaigns
