Job Description Conduct credit assessments on borrowers based on RMT Framework triggers (e.g. EWS, Core, Pre-emptive, Country-specific triggers) Perform site visits for borrowers within the Klang Valley region Review and manage Special Mention (SM) accounts to monitor emerging risks Handle and evaluate Rescheduling & Restructuring (R&R) cases Perform stress testing and support ad-hoc analytical requests from management Provide credit solutions and strategies to manage delinquent borrower accounts Assess, recommend, and implement appropriate account strategies balancing customer needs and the bank's interests Support customers on restructuring and rescheduling solutions where applicable Leadership & Team Management Lead, monitor, and track the progress of Exception Reviews (ER) from submission through to approval, ensuring timely follow-ups Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members on credit analysis, review processes, and compliance standards Collaborate closely with stakeholders (e.g. Credit, Middle Office, CAC, WLOC, TROC) to resolve cases and improve processes Proactively identify and address operational and team challenges Develop and implement process improvements to ensure smooth daily operations Drive the professional development and capability building of CRT members Promote a culture of excellence through knowledge sharing and best practices Stakeholder & Strategy Management Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless collaboration Support the Head of RMT in executing and tracking framework enhancements and initiatives Proactively identify opportunities to improve credit review and account management strategies Policy, Risk & Compliance Ensure adherence to key credit policies and frameworks, including: Country Credit Lending Policy (CLP) CMB Credit Policy (CCP) Group Credit Lending Policy (GCLP) RMT Framework Apply strong understanding of financial analysis and credit underwriting principles Job Requirements Minimum 8-10 years of experience in SME/commercial banking, with prior exposure to credit analysis, credit review, or relationship management Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a team Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, restructuring & rescheduling (R&R), and delinquency management Sound understanding of credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending frameworks Ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive outcomes and make informed credit decisions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex credit cases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in managing both internal stakeholders and customers Proactive, driven, and able to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Additional Requirements Be a Part of the UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
