Business Development Manager [Logistics]

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive growth and acquire new clients across local and Intra-Asia markets
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities in the logistics sector
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate sales leads and support business development
• Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and resolve issues to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with sales and internal teams to prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
• Negotiate terms with clients and service providers to secure mutually beneficial agreements
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Monitor industry trends, carrier performance, and market conditions to support sales strategy development
• Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to management
• Participate in tenders, RFQs, and bidding processes to expand business opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales roles
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strategic thinking with strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within teams
