Job Description: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-6:30pm I. Position Summary: The Wait staff will be responsible for greeting and serving food to the residents, and for cleaning the dining room and filling and restocking supplies. II. Position Responsibilities: Set Resident up for meal Responsible for taking food order Request any special order from the Culinary Staff Serve food to the residents Remove dirty dishes from tables and clear to the wait stations Wipe down tables and chairs Fill and Restock all food, china and glasses in weight stations Assist Culinary Associate with cleaning as needed. Clock in at scheduled time and be in uniform when you start your shift III. Core Competencies: Delivery of excellent customer service. Communicate with staff and residents in a professional manner. Excellent team player Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintaining professional conduct at all times. Identify interpersonal conflicts and resolve them constructively. Display patience and tact when dealing with all residents and employees. Present department in a positive manner towards visitors, residents and staff. Consistently maintain a courteous, pleasant, and supportive attitude toward visitors, residents and staff. Must be able to listen, understand, and follow directions. Must be able to communicate effectively with all staff. Exemplify professionalism and exhibit values which contribute to the achievement of the mission of the Food Service Department and the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. IV Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi-task Must be reliable, and dependable. Previous experience as wait staff is preferred. Experience working with seniors is a plus. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language V Physical Requirements (ADA Requirements) Prolonged standing. Stooping, stretching while cleaning tables and dining room. Ability to carry heavy food trays. Ability to carry hot food and beverages Remote Type: On-site Salary Range: $16.16 - $24.99
