Additional Information

Roles & Responsibilities : Architectural know-how: Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure Oracle database architectures (RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, Exadata, GoldenGate). Performance Tuning & Optimization: Expert-level proficiency in identifying and resolving complex performance bottlenecks across the entire Oracle stack (SQL, PL/SQL, instance, storage, network). Develop and implement proactive performance monitoring and tuning strategies. Database Security: Implement and enforce robust Oracle database security best practices, including auditing, encryption (TDE), access control, and compliance with industry standards. Patching & Upgrades: Plan, execute, and validate major Oracle database upgrades, migrations, and patching activities with minimal downtime. Troubleshooting: Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex database issues, OS level issues and providing expert-level diagnosis and resolution. Capacity Planning: Proactively monitor database growth and performance trends, providing accurate capacity planning and resource recommendations. Monitoring & Alerting Tools: Experience with enterprise-grade monitoring solutions (e.g., OEM, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk). Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
