Role/ Department: The candidate will manage trade settlement process, corporate actions/income management, accounts opening and any other operational activities to support Custody Operations. The key responsibilities of the role include: Manage Middle Eastern Trade and Settlement activities. Have appropriate level of oversight on cash and stock reconciliations ensuring regulatory compliance Manage Proxy voting activity ensuring nil errors Maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders, in various locations, to maximize delivery to our clients that meets the service level agreements Maintain relationships with different counterparties. Analyse internal reports received, raising appropriate queries, to ensure the delivery to clients is accurate and compliant with local regulation Participates in relevant custody operations related meetings with other locations to maintain and develop your subject matter expertise Resolve queries and/or take action on all queries with in set standard and timeframe. Deliver all required documentation and information to the auditors, facilitating smooth audit processes and ensuring compliance and regulatory standards. Participate in preparing monthly and quarterly KPIs. Escalate all issues where appropriate and ensure that all appropriate lines of communication are open at all times. Update operational procedures to reflect all changes in the process Work closely with Local Depository. Skills/Qualifications: The successful candidate will benefit from having: Proven experience in investment operations (custody operations is preferred) with fair knowledge of Saudi market - Excellent Arabic and English communication skills Proven proactive approach having ownership of issues until resolution Ability to Multitask with Analytical/problem solving through organization and time management Good risk management and regulations knowledge/understanding The ability to operate within a team Working with Us As a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture, which has a strong history of financial strength and stability.
