Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Architect to serve as the technical authority responsible for designing, scaling, and evolving our Palantir Foundry platform and broader SaaS architecture. This role combines deep hands-on expertise with strategic architectural leadership across data platforms, ontology design, integrations, workflow applications, AI-enabled solutions, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end architecture of the Palantir Foundry platform, including data ingestion, integrations, ontology design, application frameworks, workflow automation, and production operations. Lead architectural decisions for complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple business units and technical domains. Translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical roadmaps. Establish standards and best practices for ontology-driven modeling, data engineering, application development, integrations, monitoring, and operational support. Design and optimize batch and real-time data pipelines, third-party integrations, data quality frameworks, reconciliation processes, and observability solutions. Serve as the organization's Foundry subject matter expert across ontology design, transform pipelines, data products, application development, lineage, and platform capabilities. Ensure platform security, reliability, performance, scalability, tenant isolation, role-based access controls, auditability, monitoring, and production readiness. Act as the primary escalation point for critical technical and platform-related issues. Define and oversee architectural patterns for AI and machine learning capabilities, including intelligent automation, model inference workflows, and human-in-the-loop processes. Promote AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity, quality, testing, and documentation. Establish enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, and engineering guardrails. Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, mentorship, and guidance to engineering and delivery teams. Support technical hiring, onboarding, and capability development across the organization. Enable teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities faster and with greater confidence. Establish engineering standards, architectural guardrails, and best practices that improve reliability, maintainability, and long-term platform health. Shape the future of AI-enabled solutions across the Surgence platform. Elevate technical capability and architectural maturity across the organization through mentorship, technical leadership, and sound decision-making. 10+ years of experience in data architecture, platform engineering, backend systems, or technical leadership roles strongly preferred. 5+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience in production environments strongly preferred. Industry experience in healthcare, especially healthcare supply chain, logistics, and/or operations strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise data platforms and distributed systems. Expertise in ontology-driven data modeling, data engineering, workflow automation, system integrations, and operational pipelines. Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture, security, and role-based access control frameworks. Experience supporting AI-enabled solutions, machine learning workflows, and AI-assisted development practices. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Foundry-related development paradigms. Demonstrated ability to influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
