About the role
We are seeking to appoint a 0.2 FTE Lecturer in Health and Wellbeing to teach across the suite of undergraduate and postgraduate Health and Wellbeing programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with knowledge and experience in the field of health and wellbeing to contribute to future-facing programmes that support individuals and communities to lead healthier, happier lives. About the role: You will teach across Health and Wellbeing programmes, contributing to high-quality learning, teaching and student support at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will also help create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that reflect contemporary practice in the field. You will also support students who choose to study through the medium of Welsh. About you: We are looking for someone who is: experienced working in the health and wellbeing sector a confident and effective communicator competent and confident in using the Welsh Language motivated to deliver high-quality teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate level skilled in facilitating engaging, interactive learning opportunities We welcome applicants from a range of professional and academic backgrounds, including: health promotion and health prevention public health community health development third sector work social work nursing allied health professions This fractional role is ideal for someone who wishes to combine ongoing professional practice with teaching in Higher Education allowing them to develop their skills in teaching and learning. The successful applicant will join a team committed to delivering engaging learning opportunities for students and to developing programmes that reflect contemporary practice in health, mental health and wellbeing.
