Role The job requires working for a Global Hedge Fund Administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds. Senior Consultant in Collateral is responsible for end-to-end margin lifecycle management, reconciliation, client interaction, UMR compliance, and governance oversight , while driving process improvements and ensuring risk-controlled delivery. The position involves performing daily reconciliation of transactions, security positions and cash for all trading activity generated by clients. Major Duties Three way Reconciliation between Client, Counter party and House records for Cash and Collaterals including Margin Calls on application TriOptima. Strong ownership on break closure timelines Issue and Respond to all the margin calls for OTC and Repo trades. Identify exceptions in Margin disputes and drive resolution with relevant stakeholders Sending emails to Client for approval on the cash entries created Follow up with client and Counterparty in regarding the issue related to the margin calls. Review new client's ISDA and CSA agreements to ensure accuracy of daily call processing Month-end collateral interest process Communicate effectively with team members, internal groups and external counterparties Escalate issues that fall outside normal resolution timeframe Respond quickly and accurately to requests in a high volume, time sensitive trading environment Ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness Follow SOP and control framework Understand and apply UMR regulatory requirements for OTC derivatives , Initial Margin (IM) vs Variation Margin (VM) and Segregation requirements Support Execution of Regulatory Margin calls Accountabilities Employees are required to comply with the regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates as appropriate to the above role Employees are expected to exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the incumbent is responsible for are organised and controlled Employees are required to observe proper standards of market, business and personal conduct, demonstrating integrity in the execution of duties Reports to Operations Manger
