About the role

The Technology and Data Coordinator for Child Nutrition provides leadership, management, and oversight of the Child Nutrition data system, CNPWeb, ensuring the system effectively supports the administration, monitoring, and reporting requirements of federal and state Child Nutrition Programs. This professional services position is responsible for coordinating system implementation, maintenance, enhancements, and user support to promote accurate, efficient, and compliant program operations across the state. The coordinator serves as the primary resource for Child Nutrition data management and reporting, overseeing the collection, validation, analysis, compilation, and submission of program data required by state and federal agencies. The position ensures data integrity, supports informed decision-making, and provides timely and accurate information to internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory agencies. A key function of this role is the development and delivery of training, technical assistance, and ongoing support for state agency personnel and School Administrative Unit (SAU) Child Nutrition staff. The coordinator works to build user capacity, increase system proficiency, and ensure consistent implementation of Child Nutrition program requirements through effective use of technology and data systems. Through strategic coordination of technology, data management, training, and stakeholder engagement, this position plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness, reliability, and ongoing advancement of Child Nutrition information systems and data-driven program administration statewide. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Knowledge of workflow and financial procedures of Child Nutrition programs Knowledge of State and Federal reporting requirements Knowledge of data collection and interpretation methods Knowledge of SQL Code Knowledge of information systems Knowledge of the organization of state agencies Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to gather, assemble, calculate, and analyze facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to analyze and interpret laws, rules and regulations Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups Ability to resolve problems Ability to exercise good judgment Ability to develop and implement recommendations Ability to utilize Office 365 programs including Microsoft office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, TEAMs, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Requirements

  • Eight (8) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems, programs, and practices.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who:
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Child Nutrition Programs.
