This role is responsible for operating CNC equipment used in the manufacturing of components for pressure vessels, including GTX systems and coalescers . This position focuses strictly on machine operation, part loading/unloading, and quality checks . It does not require CNC programming or advanced machining setup, but training to learn CNC programming and machining will be made available for the motivated employee who seeks to level up their career goals while staying with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to produce components used in pressure vessel assemblies
  • Load raw materials and unload finished parts from CNC equipment
  • Follow established work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures
  • Monitor machine operation and report any irregularities or malfunctions to supervisors
  • Perform basic in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Ensure finished parts meet quality standards and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with lean principles and continuous improvement practices
  • Document production counts, scrap, and downtime accurately
  • Assist with routine machine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and tool checks
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to meet production and quality goals
  • Qualifications Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3+ years of experience operating CNC or similar production equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read basic prints, work instructions, and part specifications
  • Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to follow standardized processes consistently
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in metal fabrication or pressure vessel manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with industrial filtration or related industries
  • Experience working in a quality-driven or regulated manufacturing environment
