- Essential Duties:
- Designs, develops, and modifies data infrastructure to accelerate data analysis and reporting in line with scientific standards and best practices
- Develops, oversees, and maintains data handling and archiving protocols
- Operates and trains others in the operation of research support equipment for the development and entry of research data
- Oversees and ensures entry and uploading of quantitative child development data, working with database and statistical programs such as ACCESS, Excel, Qualtrics, RedCap, R, SPSS, and SAS
- Uses syntax to create variables and manages complex data manipulations, including those needed for observational, longitudinal, peer nomination, and survey data
- Responsive to team members, engaged in work production, resourceful, flexible, and respectful of others.
- Work effectively with a variety of stakeholders with potentially divergent interests, priorities, and requirements
- Master's degree
- Preference for experience with data in psychology, education, child and family sciences, social work, or related areas
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques relevant to the study of children's development
- Passion for applying your knowledge and experience to address important social issues related to children's development
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
- Working Environment:
- Climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of being in a stationary position.
- Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Ability to clearly communicate and exchange accurate information to perform essential duties.
- Regular activities include ability to quickly change priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
