Restructuring Analyst to Associate Investment bank

Responsibilities

• Support execution across a range of restructuring and special situations mandates
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including three-statement models, liquidity forecasts and downside scenarios
• Assist with strategic options analysis, refinancing reviews and capital structure assessments
• Prepare client presentations, lender materials, information packs and board documentation
• Conduct financial and operational analysis on stressed or underperforming businesses
• Support stakeholder coordination across lenders, sponsors, management teams, legal advisers and other parties
• Assist senior team members on accelerated sale processes, debt advisory and contingency planning assignments
• Monitor live workstreams and support project management across multiple transactions simultaneously
• Contribute to research, market analysis and preparation of pitch materials for prospective mandates
• Candidate Profile
• 1-4 years' experience within investment banking, restructuring, or modelling
• Strong financial modelling fundamentals
• Experience supporting execution of live advisory or financing mandates
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Strong understanding of debt analysis, cash flow forecasting or stressed situations
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated interest in restructuring, special situations or leveraged finance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong academic background
• ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• Strong work ethic and desire to build a long-term career within restructuring advisory
