Anaplan Model Builder

Responsibilities

• The PJT Partners Technology team is responsible for creating and continuously improving a robust and secure technology foundation that supports the firm's business activities.
• Responsibilities include:
• Work within the Technology Data & Business Applications team, initially focusing on Anaplan at the start but gradually learning and supporting Workday and participating in other projects;
• Be responsible for ongoing optimizations, enhancements and maintenance of Anaplan models, dashboards, UX pages, management reports and integrations;
• Work with stakeholders across the firm to gather requirements and build items in Anaplan to support their goals;
• Build & update reports in Workday;
• Closely partner on cross-functional projects within Technology and across the broader Corporate functions;
• Mentor other resources at the firm, ensuring best practices are followed when building in Anaplan;
• Automate and optimize tasks using various tools (Power Automate, Copilot Studio, etc);
• Continuously expand capabilities and skills (learn parallel or tangential tools - Azure Data Factory, ServiceNow, etc.)

Requirements

• PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field;
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience, experience working with data is beneficial;
• Implementation, Management, or Consulting experience related to Anaplan;
• Anaplan certifications, including Model Builder, Solution Architect, and Master Anaplanner are beneficial but not required;
• Strong Excel skills;
• Experience with Workday is preferred;
• Familiarity with financial concepts is beneficial;
• Experience with public company or robust private company corporate functions and their processes;
• Experience in solving complex technology, process, and/or data related problems;
• Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders;
• Familiarity with Anaplan integrations including Cloudworks, Python, Azure Data Factory and/or other ETL tools is a plus;
• Experience managing a small team of model builders is a plus.
