In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience/minimum qualification equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band (DP-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist. Specialized experience includes duties related to some or all of the following: Demonstrating technical leadership in system-level design, integration, and full lifecycle management; Utilizing software-based tools or analytical models (e.g., Python, MATLAB) to automate engineering workflows, process test data, and evaluate complex system performance requirements; Working varied complex equipment systems and subsystems associated with research, innovation, or reengineering assignments; AND Developing or testing new equipment or material that significantly adds to the operability and usefulness of existing or new equipment/systems having new features.
