Assistant HSE Engineer

About the role

Position Summary Ensure all forms of operation carried out within PaxOcean Singapore is in regulatory compliance to all relevant requirements and industry codes and standards. Uphold all in-house requirements and standards pertaining to HSE governance within yard's operation. Serves as point of contact for direct liaison of all operational and /or HSE system related matters. Tasks and Responsibilities To carry out implementation of HSE Policy and requirements as established within PaxOcean's Safety Management System for the purpose of ensuring yard operations are in compliance to all requirements as established by relevant authorities. To carry out enforcement of local regulatory requirements from relevant authorities and international best practices from relevant standards on all operations being carried out within PaxOcean's premises. To promote safety awareness & culture amongst the workforce through trainings and other HSE activities in order to achieve an accident-free and healthy work environment. To assist organization in achieving higher standard of HSE performance. To liaise with external parties and other governmental bodies pertaining HSE matters. Job Requirements At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in the shipyard industry. Ability to lead and take charge of a small group Ability to perform shift works Ability to plan and conduct data analysis and trending Ability to conduct investigation and carried out root cause analysis utilizing various proven investigational techniques Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
