About the role

You will serve as an Electronics Engineer, in the Tactical Electronic Warfare Division, code 576200 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/13 grade level or pay band (NP-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1) Assessing, understanding, and interpreting threats to the Navy's Electronic Warfare (EW) systems based on reviewing intelligence information; 2) Designing, developing, and implementing test plans and/or processes for evaluating performance of Radio Frequency (RF) based systems; 3) Planning, scheduling and leading the efforts of other engineers, scientists and contractors; 4) Directing requirements management, risk management, technical reviews and technical planning; and 5) Communicate both orally and in writing.
