Be able to change out components on ejection plastic molds. Ability to use polishing stones and part washers. Ability to drive lift truck. Able to use Voltmeter and shop equipment. Able to use the overhead crane to move molds and components. Able to disassemble and reassemble molds etc. Must be able to identify tool damage and make minor repairs with assistance from toolmakers. Adherence to all-appropriate safety practices and procedures. Works closely with Lead and Senior Techs. Supports the established Quality Policy Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions. Knowledge & Skill Requirements: This position should possess the following skills/knowledge: High school graduate, GED or equivalent Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely. Strong math skills Good team worker Core Values: Strong interpersonal skills Speak and write English clearly and concisely. Good team worker Core and Critical Competencies: The following competencies in which all employees shall have a satisfactory level of skills: Communication Team Skills Planning Skills Technical Skills: Computer literate Strong math skills, Mechanical skills Ability to use shop equipment. Knowledgeable of safety, health, environmental, and HR regulations as well as policies and practices Physical Requirements: Walking - frequently 4-5 hrs. Standing - 7 hrs. Climbing - occasionally Squatting/Stooping - occasionally Reaching - occasionally Lifting - up to 25# frequently Lifting - 25# and over with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift) Safety Requirements: The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.
