Responsibilities

  • This work includes strategic planning, program coordination, policy coordination, interagency liaison, and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation and successful execution of ASO's mission
  • Systematically engage with stakeholders across the early stages of DoW Capability Development Lifecycle enterprise (with focus on science and technology partners)
  • Assist the Chief Science Advisor to architect the future of Information dominance and Drive Enterprise Capability Modernization; for example, IT investments and AI-enabled tools
  • Interface with key stakeholders, including the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, Service warfighters, governmental, corporate, and academic Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)-to understand requirements and facilitate coordination

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience with technical and policy coordination, strategic planning, policy coordination at Department of War agencies, joint commands, or services.
  • BA or BS degree (Math, Science, or Engineering preferred) or 4 years of technical experience
  • Expertise in the DoD 5000 series regulations to guide partners in incorporating their capabilities into strategic and operational solutions
  • Experience in coordination and collaboration among DoW and external agencies
  • Experience with DoW Information Operations
  • Strong critical thinking as well as written/oral communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with sensitive programs to include security procedures
  • Experience in engaging with senior defense leaders
  • Clearance
  • An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility required
  • The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
  • $117,300 - $156,700 USD
