THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PRIMARY PREVENTION SPECIALIST (PREV WF) - TITLE 5, Position Description Number PDT0029P01 and is part of the KY COA, National Guard. ***NOTE: Start date will be contingent on IPW funding.*** SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one (1) year experience at the next lower level in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS-09) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the experience and knowledge of Primary Prevention efforts relating to self-directed and interpersonal harm. Experience in the organization, management, and administration of programs and services to participate in self-directed and interpersonal harm prevention program planning. Experience collecting data, creating reports, and maintaining proper records. Experience preparing and conducting briefings to senior leaders and management. Knowledge of laws, regulations, executive orders, issues, etc., relating to the primary prevention of self-directed and interpersonal harm. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
