Responsibilities

- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or equivalent, required
- Registration with College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathology of Ontario (CASLPO) required
- Ontario Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA) preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (C Level) Heart Saver Plus Canada (on employment)
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience with adult neurogenic communication disorders required
- Minimum of two years clinical experience in neurorehabilitation
- Clinical experience with acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and /or experience working with patients with dementia an asset
- Dysphagia experience (including videofluoroscopy assessment) preferred
- Experience in the assessment and treatment of adult neurogenic communication disorders
- Experience in dysphagia and video fluoroscopic evaluation of swallowing
- Experience in implementing group models of therapy and education
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency preferred
