Safety Coordinator

About the role

1. Regulatory Compliance Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations and codes of practice, including guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements Monitor adherence to company safety policies and statutory requirements 2. Risk Assessment & Control Conduct and review risk assessments for activities Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures Ensure safe work procedures are established and followed 3. Site Supervision & Coordination Supervise works on-site to ensure safety compliance Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers on electrical safety matters Ensure only qualified and licensed personnel perform electrical work 6. Incident Investigation & Reporting Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions 7. Training & Awareness Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions on safety Promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel 8. Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, risk assessments, and incidents Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as required Requirements & Qualifications MOM-registered WSH Coordinator certification is mandatory Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electrical works, preferably in construction or industrial settings Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Employer questions Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Singapore?
