The SI/PI team interacts broadly across the entirety of Amazon Leo to deliver electrical designs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or experience working in electrical engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in signal integrity design and simulation of high-speed interfaces such as DDR, Ethernet, JESD, and PCIe.
  • Hands-on experience using EM SIPI simulation tools such as ANSYS, ADS, Hyperlynx, Sigrity, etc.
  • Experience using VNAs, oscilloscopes, and high-fidelity probing techniques.
  • Experience participating in schematic and design reviews.
  • Experience with schematic and layout ECAD tools - Mentor Xpedition preferred
  • Experience in Power Distribution Network (PDN) design, simulation, and lab validation for power integrity
  • Demonstrated design innovation in complex board design
  • Experience in with silicon and package-level signal and power integrity analysis

Key job responsibilities As a Sr. Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Engineer, you will be responsible for developing SIPI collateral supporting system integration of the latest technology, defining and developing Signal and Power Integrity test methodologies, participating in design reviews, performing SI and PI simulations, providing reports, collaborating with other engineers, validating your designs in the lab, and working to ensure a high technical bar for hardware designs across Amazon Leo.
