Temporary Accounting Support Supervisory Resource

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory services to ensure timeliness and accuracy of direct bill and agency bill transactions
• Verify split of business between legacy SPG accounts and policies belonging to Amtrust
• Review and coordinate timely premium payments to insurers and producers
• Support month-end close activities including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Provide monthly bank statements and reconciliations
• Prepare and submit aging schedules for outstanding balances
• Support audit requests and ad hoc external reporting as requested by Amtrust

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Experience with direct bill and/or agency bill transactions preferred
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with AIM or similar agency management systems a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Support Supervisor to provide transitional accounting and financial support on a temporary basis related to the sale of Specialty Comp Insurance Solutions (SCIS). This role will assist with a range of accounting functions during a business transition period, with an expected duration of up to 12 months.
