We're looking for a Logistics / Supply Chain Assistant to strengthen our global Supply Chain organization by taking ownership of operational tasks in logistics, and support in other supply chain related areas such as procurement and planning. This role focuses on logistics operations, planning and coordinating warehouse transfers of our warehouses in Europe, tracking shipments, controlling invoices, etc. This position is an ideal entry-level position to enable a career in logistics or other supply chain areas. Roles & Responsibilities As Logistics / Supply Chain Assistant, you support operational supply chain activities across logistics and procurement. You work closely with teams in Switzerland and other locations, as well as external partners and service providers globally. Main responsibility: Logistics Support inbound logistics by tracking incoming shipments, checking shipping documents vs. PO data, and ensuring correct goods receipt postings in the ERP system. Support outbound logistics by maintaining shipping instructions, coordinating standard shipments with couriers / 3PLs, and ensuring accurate shipment and tracking data in the system. Coordinate and mitigate issues in logistics with the 3PL provider and couriers. Handle serial number and other tracking information Support the preparation of standard customs and trade compliance documentation (e.g. HS codes, country of origin) and help resolve customs issues Main responsibility: Warehouse and inventory management Prepare and support cycle count activities and book corrections. Prepare and track internal stock transfers between warehouses in coordination with Customer Service. Support processing of order returns Coordinate and mitigate issues with the external 3PL warehouse Support as deputy in procurement and planning operations Create, release, and maintain purchase orders (POs) for raw materials and finished goods based on inputs from Strategic and Tactical Procurement and defined planning parameters. Execute standard planning topics for selected raw materials and finished goods Monitor open POs and delivery schedules; follow up with suppliers to confirm quantities, prices, and delivery dates and update the ERP system. Track deviations in confirmations (delays, quantity/price issues) and escalate to Tactical / Strategic Procurement as needed. Create and maintain ERP master data (vendors, raw materials, finished goods, purchase prices, lead times, minimum order quantities, etc.) Handle consignment invoicing Check supplier invoices against POs and goods receipts (price, quantity, terms), clarify discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and support Accounting in resolving mismatches and credit/debit notes. General tasks and continuous improvements Ensure high data quality in ERP and other systems Create and document standard operating procedures Identify and propose improvements to simplify and standardize processes, reduce manual work, and improve lead times, reliability, and data quality.

Requirements

  • Commercial or technical degree/qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or a comparable operations / Assistant role (ideally in an international environment).
  • Practical experience working with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O ) , for purchasing, inventory, and logistics processes.
  • Strong skills in Excel; experience with data analysis or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of basic supply chain concepts: POs, lead times, safety stock, stock transfers, inbound/outbound flows.
  • Experience with standard logistics and invoicing processes (goods receipt)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Structured, reliable, and proactive way of working, able to follow defined processes while identifying improvements.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, and Accounting, and external partners.
