This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Associate, Inter Company Order & Invoice Flow (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for managing inter-company orders and ensuring compliance with customs, regulatory, and financial requirements until delivery and receipt at the warehouse. In this role, a typical day will include: - Execute and update all inter-company orders until delivery and receipt at the warehouse, ensuring compliance with customs, regulatory, and financial requirements - Apply specialized knowledge to perform tasks and achieve project goals through effective task completion, following procedures with some decision-making authority - Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control - Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements, contributing to the overall compliance of the organization - Commit to continuous improvement in operations. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: 3-5 years in an international customer service. Experience in OTI (order to Invoice) module of ERP (preferred SAP). (High proficiency) Advanced Excel knowledge (crosstab, pivot, vlookup, macros, scripts, ...). Communication Skills: Demonstrate ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with geographically or functionally dispersed teams. (High proficiency) Time management: Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks. Ability to handle urgent and unforeseen requests. Ability to work to deadlines. Maintains effective performance under time pressure.
