Requirements

  • 1-3 years of program evaluation experience preferred.

  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings but is not a primary and essential job responsibility.

Center Director Family and Early Childhood Education programs Pay rate : $ 39.00/hour The Opportunity Alliance is looking to fill our Center Director position, specifically supporting our Early Head Start and Head Start programs. The Center Director will serve as the lead staff at a multi-class center serving children ages birth to five. The right candidate will support staff, meet the needs of children and their families and provide guidance and feedback to the program's leadership team. Schedule : Full-time, 30 hours per week, hourly position. Mon. - Fri. regular business hours. Location : Onsite in Portland, ME Some remote is possible though the expectation will be to be onsite supporting the Child and Family Services East End Center
